Welcome to the inaugural AgriGenomics World Congress, to be held in the colourful city of Amsterdam.

AgriGenomics is the detailed study of the genetic makeup of the plant and how all the genes work together to produce the crop. Recently there has been great interest in genetically engineering plants to optimize yields and their use in biofuels.
