Training Course for Stem Cell Technology

Stem cell research is one of the most discussed topics in biomedical field of the day. To enhance stem cell research in China, we will organize a stem cell training course in Tianjin, China in October 2008 (October 12-15, 2008). This training program is supported by National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS). This workshop is designed to introduce basic methods and advanced technologies for stem cell research, and will be lectured by leading Chinese scientists in the area of stem cell research from USA and China.
Approximately 50 students will be chosen to attend the training course, and all the students will be invited to an international stem cell symposium in October 16-18 following the course.

Organizers:

Institute of Hematology and Blood Disease Hospital, Institute of Basic Medical Sciences & School of Basic Medicine, Peking Union Medical College, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences; State Key Laboratory for Experimental Hematology; National Center for Stem Cell Engineering and Technologies.
