Pre-Conference Training Courses

The RNAi Europe conference will be preceded on 16 September 2009 by the following course.

Targeted Genome Editing in Eukarya Using Zinc Finger Nucleases

14:00-17:30, 16 September 2009, Berlin, Germany

FREE REGISTRATION

This course will discuss a novel technology that enables high-frequency genome editing via the application of designed zinc finger nucleases (ZFNs). The tutors will demonstrate single, double and triple gene knockout in mammalian cell lines and knockout of native genes in animal models including zebrafish and rat. Furthermore, the course will demonstrate the use of ZFN technology for targeted gene insertion into native chromosomal loci in human and mouse embryonic stem cells.
