Dunn Labortechnik

Dunn Labortechnik, a privately owned German company founded over 25 years ago, is offering a wide range of products for cell and tissue culture, molecular biology, drug discovery, tissue engineering and related technologies. On booth no. 9 they will exhibit the “Phoenix“ from Art Robbins Instruments. The “Phoenix” is a multiposition, high-throughput liquid-handling platform which is characterized by nine assay positions (including 1 wash station and 2 reagent positions). Interchangeable syringe heads have a range of 0, 1 µl to 1 ml. With its optional rapid non-contact nano-dispenser (50 nl, 96 wells/30 sec.) it is particularly suitable for protein crystallisation. Also shown on the booth is the “CrysCam”, a versatile digital microscope for protein crystal and microplate observation and documentation.

Wyatt Technology Europe
Founded in 1982 by Dr. Philip Wyatt, Wyatt Technology corporation is dedicated to producing and distributing the most advanced instruments for macromolecular characterization.
In 1993 Wyatt Technology Deutschland (WTD) was founded, a partially-owned subsidiary, to satisfy the needs of a growing market in Germany and prepare for future activities in Eastern Europe. In March 2002, WTD started a new phase of its development as Wyatt Technology Europe. Located in Dernbach, Germany, it provides highest levels of support and application assistance throughout Europe.

TTP LabTech
TTP LabTech’s mosquito® is a compact nanolitre pipettor for automating protein crystallography screening set-ups. It aspirates and dispenses nanolitre drops (25nL-1200nL range) so precious protein goes further; and its extremely accurate positioning ensures repeatable, successful set-ups; while disposable, positive displacement pipettes handle a variety of viscosities and ensure zero cross-contamination.
